Emma

Adapted from the novel by Jane Austen

Directed by Lexi von Hoffmann

Full of confidence, and wealthy enough to be unconcerned by other people’s opinions, Emma Woodhouse has made it her goal to find a suitable husband for her less fortunate friend Harriet. With Janes Austen’s trademark wit and inimitable sense of irony shining through this stage adaptation of the famous novel, Emma finds herself stumbling from one error to the next – only to discover that she has been misreading not only everyone around her, but also her own feelings.
