Terms of Use
Gültig ab: 30. Oktober 2026 · Version 3.1.0
1. Provider and scope
1.1 These terms govern the use of the tockets.io website including all of its pages, subdomains and technical interfaces (“tockets.io”). The provider is the person named in the imprint (“we”).
1.2 tockets.io may be used only on these terms. Differing terms of users do not apply.
2. What tockets.io is – and what it is not
2.1 tockets.io is a free information service. We compile references to events run by third parties and make them searchable, for example by place, date and category.
2.2 The event information comes from publicly accessible sources and is compiled almost entirely by automated means. It is third-party information. We do not review it for accuracy, completeness or currency, whether editorially or otherwise, and we do not adopt it as our own.
2.3 We neither organise the listed events nor sell tickets. We owe neither the staging of an event nor admission to it, and we do not become a party to contracts that users conclude with organisers, ticket sellers or other third parties. Such contracts are governed solely by the terms of the relevant third party.
2.4 The fact that an event is shown on tockets.io is not a recommendation and not a statement about its quality, safety, lawfulness or suitability for particular persons.
2.5 Our service is limited to keeping tockets.io available for access in its current form in accordance with section 8. The accuracy, completeness and currency of the event information are not part of our service.
3. All information without warranty and subject to change
3.1 All event information on tockets.io is provided without warranty as to its accuracy, completeness or currency. This applies in particular to dates, times, admission, venues, prices, ticket availability, programme, performers, age restrictions, accessibility and images.
3.2 All information is subject to change and error. Events may be changed, moved or cancelled at any time, or may be sold out, without this being apparent on tockets.io.
3.3 Only the information that the relevant organiser or ticket seller publishes through its own channels is authoritative. Please check it before making any decision – for example before travelling, booking or buying – via the link to the original source or directly with the organiser.
3.4 Prices shown are non-binding indications. We do not make an offer to conclude a contract; only the price stated by the relevant seller applies.
3.5 This section describes our service and contains neither a guarantee nor an assurance. Our liability is governed solely by section 9.
4. Order of results
Which events are shown depends on the selected filters (city, date, category) and, for a search, on how well they match the search term. Results are generally sorted by the start of the event; events that start earlier appear first. So that the same venue does not always appear first, the first position in a row may vary. Payments by third parties do not influence the order. There is no entitlement to an event being shown, appearing in a particular position or remaining listed.
5. External links and partner links
5.1 tockets.io contains links to third-party websites, for example to organisers, ticket sellers, and map and calendar services. These links are added almost entirely by automated means. We have no influence over the linked content; we do not review it in advance and do not adopt it as our own. The relevant provider alone is responsible; its terms and privacy information apply.
5.2 If we become aware of unlawful content on a linked page, we remove the link without undue delay.
5.3 Some links are partner links and are marked “Sponsored”. If a purchase is made through such a link, we may receive a commission from the relevant provider.
6. Acceptable use and protection of the data
6.1 tockets.io may be used only for your own information about events and only through the functions provided for that purpose. This includes noting individual events for your own non-commercial use, adding them to or subscribing to them in your calendar through the calendar functions provided, and recommending them to others by link.
6.2 Unless sections 6.1 and 6.3 permit otherwise, the following are prohibited without our prior express consent, even where only individual events or parts of event information are concerned:
- accessing or searching tockets.io, including its interfaces, by automated means, for example with crawlers, scrapers, bots or scripts,
- systematically extracting, reproducing, storing or re-using event information in whole or in part,
- transferring event information into your own or third-party datasets, event directories, event search services, or comparison or recommendation services, or making it available to third parties for that purpose,
- using content of tockets.io for training, developing or improving artificial intelligence systems or for any other text and data mining.
This also applies where third parties are engaged to do so.
6.3 The following access is permitted to the extent that the relevant robots.txt file does not exclude it:
- the capture of public pages by general search engines that do not specialise in events and by AI-powered search and answer services, in order to show those pages in search results or answers with a link to tockets.io,
- access that a person initiates in an individual case, for example to preview a shared link or by an assistant answering that person's question.
Event information may be reproduced only to the extent necessary for that purpose and may not be stored or re-used for other purposes. This section does not permit training artificial intelligence systems; such training is allowed only to the extent that we expressly permit it, including in machine-readable form such as in the robots.txt and ai.txt files.
6.4 Also prohibited are attacks on the technical infrastructure, circumvention of protective measures, access restrictions or rate limits, access that impairs operation, and any use for unlawful purposes.
6.5 To the extent that a use is not permitted under section 6.1 or 6.3, we expressly reserve uses for text and data mining (reservation of rights under section 44b(3) of the German Copyright Act and Article 4(3) of Directive (EU) 2019/790). Statutory permissions that cannot be excluded by contract remain unaffected.
6.6 In the event of a breach we may block access in whole or in part and take technical protective measures. Further claims, in particular for injunctive relief and damages, remain reserved.
7. Rights in content, reports of errors and infringements
7.1 The design, software and original texts of tockets.io and the compilation of the data are legally protected, in particular by copyright and the database maker's right. Permitted uses are governed by section 6.
7.2 Rights in event names, trade marks, logos, texts and images of third parties remain with their respective owners. They are reproduced solely to provide information about the relevant event.
7.3 Anyone who considers a piece of information to be incorrect or content to infringe rights can tell us at the e-mail address given in the imprint, ideally with the web address of the page concerned and a short explanation. We review such reports without undue delay and correct or remove the content concerned where the report is justified.
8. Availability and changes to the service
8.1 We provide tockets.io free of charge and without any commitment to a particular level of availability. We may change, restrict, interrupt or discontinue the website in whole or in part at any time. There is no entitlement to availability, to particular functions or content, or to continuation of the service.
8.2 Settings and saved events are stored exclusively in the user's browser. They may be lost, for example when browser data is deleted or the device is changed; we do not back them up.
9. Liability
9.1 We have unlimited liability for intent and gross negligence, for damage arising from injury to life, body or health, under the German Product Liability Act, and to the extent that we have fraudulently concealed a defect or given a guarantee.
9.2 For a slightly negligent breach of an essential contractual obligation, our liability is limited to the damage that was foreseeable at the time the contract was concluded and is typical for this type of contract. Essential contractual obligations are obligations whose fulfilment makes proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose observance the user may regularly rely.
9.3 In all other respects our liability for damage caused by slight negligence is excluded.
9.4 Because the accuracy, completeness and currency of the event information are not part of our service (sections 2 and 3), we are, subject to section 9.1, in particular not liable for damage arising because an event does not take place, or takes place at a different time, at a different place, at a different price or otherwise differently from what is stated on tockets.io. This includes, for example, wasted expenditure on travel, accommodation or tickets.
9.5 We are not responsible for the content, services and conduct of third parties, in particular organisers, ticket sellers and operators of linked websites. Section 9.1 remains unaffected.
9.6 The above provisions also apply for the benefit of our legal representatives, staff and agents.
9.7 These terms do not create any liability, guarantee or assurance going beyond the statutory provisions.
10. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms with effect for the future. Use of tockets.io is governed by the version published on tockets.io at the time of the relevant use. Where a continuing contractual relationship exists with a user, a change takes effect towards that user only with the user's consent.
11. Final provisions
11.1 German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice of law applies only to the extent that it does not deprive them of the protection of mandatory provisions of the country in which they have their habitual residence.
11.2 If the user is a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, our place of business is the exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with the use of tockets.io. In all other cases the statutory places of jurisdiction apply.
11.3 We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
11.4 If a provision of these terms is invalid, the remaining provisions remain valid. The statutory provisions apply in place of the invalid provision.
11.5 This English text is a translation for convenience. The German version is authoritative.
