THE BIRD EXPERIENCE

The Bird Experience is a six-to-twelve-piece psychedelic blues-rock and soul band led by composer, singer, and harmonicist player Mees Vullings. That may sound like a lot to take in, but once you've heard their melting-pot of a debut, you'll realize that even those words fail to capture the full breadth of the band's sound.
On stage, the ritual deepens. Their performances are chaotic, hypnotic, and wildly unpredictable, with rhythms that coil around your spine and commands you to move, whether you will it or not. One moment you're swaying; the next, you're caught up in something that feels closer to possession than a concert.
Before playing a single live show, the band had already attracted the attention of a booking agency and record label. Major festivals, including the renowned Roadburn and Bevrijdingsfestival, soon followed.
